Sweet, Petite, Kooky and Upbeat
Jessica Sherr was born funny. With an understanding that drama is a part of being human, she is passionate about her work and unafraid to take risks.
Jessica grew up in El Cajon, California and has long been called a creative. At age five, her Grandma Alice sat her down at her typewriter, and together they wrote wild stories. At age eight, she was dancing and looking a lot like Madonna. By age ten, she built the Hotel Del Coronado out of 267 Popsicle sticks, and made her mother haul the masterpiece to school in her Volkswagen. Jessica has always been incredibly resourceful and creative, and she prides herself on her ability to create fascinating one-of-a-kind characters. Jessica studied at UC Santa Barbara and holds a BA in English and Dramatic Arts. For the past 4 years, she has studied with Wynn Handman.
When she is not acting, Jessica can be found at Rockaway Beach surfing. She just bought her 3rd surfboard, "Smurfette". Jessica is a certified personal trainer, and she has worked at New York Health and Racquet Club for 13 years.
She wrote the internationally acclaimed one-woman show, BETTE DAVIS AINT FOR SISSIES, and has traveled the world. Recently, Jessica has performed 25 shows at the legendary Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, Scotland, had a limited run at St. James Theater London, had a sold out show off-broadway at 59E59, and had three ENCORES at The Players Club.
